ABOUT ERIC

Eric exemplifies the Big Rock standard. A true professional at his craft, he brings scientific expertise, a passion for exploration, and a full compliment of modern data-driven investigative tools. His thesis in university focused on the Precambrian tectonics of southeast Wyoming using structural geology, petrography, and mineral chemistry.

Building upon his studies, his work with Big Rock has focused on exploration of hydrothermal ore deposits and analysis of regional to property scale geochemical datasets that incorporate both publicly available and proprietary datasets to identify quality targets.

Eric is a workhorse in the field and plays an integral role on our technical team. It has been a busy and demanding summer for the crew and they’ve been every bit up to the task. In July he was recognized by his peers for outstanding contributions in four key criteria that enable successful programs.

TEAM CONTRIBUTIONS

Safety is core value and always an operational imperative at Big Rock. Eric continually demonstrates  high situational awareness in all work environments, and acts diligently and proactively to advise coworkers’ safety and adherence to protocols.

Developing deep expertise in geochemistry and structural geology makes Eric a tremendous asset to any program, however it’s his willingness to share knowledge and help his coworkers that demonstrates his dedication and commitment to the team. 

Eric’s attention to detail and persistence when working through tough problems ensure quality in both process and outcome. His drive to improve and seek out challenge sets a great tone for those that work with him.

Whether in the office or in the field, good communication is vital to effective and efficient operations. Eric is a considerate, prompt, and detailed communicator with coworkers and clients, which make him reliable in any situation. Collectively, Eric is a great contributor and we’re proud to have him onboard.
